Acrylic over photography in canvas. 60 x 60 cm. Flesz magazine with Zuzana Bijoch
Taking inspiration from the photos taken for the editorial, we wanted to use pictures to reflect the contrast between Zuzanna’s innocence and her energy and strength. That’s why we combined pieces that exuded vigor with others that betrayed fragility and hints of naivety.
The result? Five eclectic pieces that feature everything from the jagged textures of Poland’s Tatra mountain to references to the floral paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe, each with a spirit of its own, but all united by the common theme of Zuzanna’s face.
In paying tribute to Polish fashion, Flesz magazine wanted to collaborate with one of the country’s icons, model Zuzanna Bijoch, who has earned international fame for starring in ad campaigns for brands like Chloé, Gucci and Louis Vuitton and in editorials for magazines like V Magazine, Love Magazine and Dazed & confused. The styling was the work of Agnieszka Scibior, who created looks that showcased Polish fashion, combining pieces from some of the country’s most prestigious designers.
The work of hair stylist Paco Garrigues was a crucial element of the photo-shoot. The dynamic, flowing hair blended beautifully with the impeccable lighting and its hues of color.
